What is a coupon QR code?
This is a coupon QR code that will give you a better rate than the regular rate. It can be used by having the foreign currency exchange machine scan it.

Are there any fees?
The exchange rate will be displayed on the foreign currency exchange machine, and there are no other fees.
Where is the machine?
They are installed at tourist spots, public transportation facilities (stations, airports, ports), accommodations, downtown areas, etc. throughout Japan.

What currencies can I use?
We support 12 types of currencies. Please check the MAP search for the currencies supported by each exchange machine.

Can I exchange Japanese yen for foreign currency?
Only foreign currency can be exchanged into Japanese yen.
Can I exchange coins?
Coins cannot be exchanged.
Can I use a credit card?
Credit cards cannot be used. Only foreign currency notes can be exchanged.
Can I charge my electronic money?
It is not possible to charge electronic money. Only cash can be used for withdrawal.
Is there a maximum amount that can be exchanged?
Our foreign currency exchange machines can exchange amounts less than 100,000 yen.
Do I need a passport or other ID?
No, except for some foreign currency exchange machines. Please feel free to use it.
*A passport is only required for the currency exchange machines at Kansai International Airport and Kiraboshi Bank.
Is it available 24 hours a day?
Business hours vary depending on each currency exchange machine.

The foreign currency notes will be returned.
We are very sorry, but there are some banknotes that cannot be recognised by currency exchange machines due to being dirty or wrinkled, and some banknotes that are no longer accepted due to the year of issue.
